Packing and Carriage Charges
Standard Carriage  ( up to £2,500.00 NET) £25.00 Net, U.K. mainland; Carriage charge £65.00 Net, (for order value between £2,501 and £5,000 NET); Carriage charge £249.95 Net,(for order value of £5,001 and above).
We reserve the right to charge full cost of carriage on consignments as and when notified. Overnight charge, under 25kgs £16.00 NET. Over 25kgs when requested at cost. "Timed deliveries and A.M. deliveries by arrangement at cost." Full carriage is chargeable on all offshore orders including Channel Isles, Isle of Wight, Isle of Mann and N.I.


Delivery to UK Mainland,

All prices are displayed on the website. Free Delivery applies to UK Mainland Only.Please check the dimensions of the delivery address for access (including doors, corridors, stairs and corners) and the proposed location before ordering large pieces of furniture, to ensure successful delivery, and to confirm that the product is the right size for your needs.

  We do not normally deliver to locations outside the UK Mainland. Delivery is to ground floor/reception only. Please notify us if you have any special delivery requirements Absolute Home Office Design will not accept liability for any damage both to the delivered product and to the customers property (including all types of fixtures, fittings and building structure) whilst assisting the customer with a request. The customer must solely take responsibility for this action. Any consequent damage should fall under the customers insurance.

 
Aborted Delivery
If delivery address supplied is incomplete or the delivery is refused for any reason and our carrier has to put the delivery on hold. We will charge for holds and re-delivery costs in full to you.

Cancellation
No order may be cancelled by a customer without our consent in writing. Absolute home office design  reserves the right to claim all loss and expenses which may be incurred as a result of cancellation.

Site Delivery
All goods delivered as directed to customers site are not treated as delivered to customers own premises. It is the responsibility of the customer to sign for receipt and check for conformity.Absolute home office design  will consider signed paperwork as proof of delivery. All goods signed for in good order will cancel any future claim for damage at any time.Absolute home office design  do not accept responsibility for any damage claim after time of delivery. There is a £2.50 charge for notification of delivery to customers site.

Damaged Goods

 

If the product is damaged. a like for like replacement will be delivered, at no extra cost to you the customer, (No Refund will be given)
You should inspect the goods when you receive them for any damage. If the package you receive looks like it may be damaged or has been tampered with you should refuse the package or mark the courier’s sheet to show this (if you do sign to accept the package). If the goods are found to be damaged prior to delivery to you then we will replace the goods like for like . If you find any damages you must inform us by telephone on 08447- 401652 within 24hrs (preferably immediately on the same day you receive them)
  We will make a note of the order number when you phone, You will then need to send an email to sales@absolutehomeoffice.co.uk listing any damages/shortages and if possible, e-mail us with a photograph showing the damage. We will try to resolve this ASAP. We cannot be held responsible for damages reported after 48hrs of receipt and cannot accept any liability regarding shortages, damage or loss as the goods are out of our care and no longer covered by our replacements policy. Goods must be returned in the original packaging and sealed securely.We shall repair or replace at our election any goods deemed to fail as a result of poor workmanship or damage whilst in transit to delivery address.

NO Credit will be issued with out Proof of return.

 

Return of Goods

 Please read quote at time of placing order as items can not be changed once order has been delivered with out extra cost to you the customer. We reserve the right to charge for returned goods that have been ordered in error or are no longer required. Any goods that have been made to order cannot be returned 

  
Goods which have been correctly supplied and dispatched by the Company in accordance with a customers order but which the customer no longer wishes to retain may only be returned after the approval of  Absolute Home Office Design has been sought and granted in writing. Application to return correctly supplied goods must be made within 7-10 days of receipt of goods.

If you the customer decides that the product is unsuitable and wishes to return it a 30% handling charge of RRP( before discounts price) is made in all cases or a minimum charge of £20.00 NET.This is the direct cost to Absolute Home Office Design to recover the item A 70% credit,will be issued for any products whereby the packaging is opened but the products have been untouched. Estimate of cost for such collections can be given. On acceptance goods must be returned or made available for collection within 7-10 days. All goods can only be accepted if they are unused, unassembled and in original packaging and in re-saleable condition. Therefore check each individual part of any flat-packed furniture prior to assembling. ( we can not accept goods that have been assembled sale of good act 1979) It is the customers responsibility to check details are correct at time of placing order.All returns are accepted at the discretion of Absolute Home Office Design and under certain circumstances, we reserve the right to refuse returns.A credit for the products will only be issued once the condition of return has been assessed.(Please be careful when opening the package, if the package is not resealable and any  packaging is removed or damaged ( no credit will be issued for that item) as they are then deemed un-salable condition.This can take 30 days before credit will be given ( if applicable) Without prejudice to your statutory rights,

"Goods which are deemed specials and have been manufactured especially to such order specification are non-returnable".


1.  All orders are accepted on the basis of prices ruling at the time of dispatch.

2.  All delivery items are subject to the availability of materials and services.

3.  We do not accept any responsibility for failure of services or circumstances beyond our control.

4.  Delivery times are given in good faith and we cannot guarantee or accept responsibility for timed and
     dated deliveries where carried by third parties.

5.  We cannot be held accountable for any charges or compensation wherein we have not given prior agreement
     for services provided due to late delivery.

Samples: These are sent as chargeable goods to be credited on return. Goods returned

within 30 days which are in a resalable condition and original packaging is credited in full.

Samples retained after 30 days will be charged unless prior arrangement is made for the

extension of the loan period. Only samples returned in a resalable condition and

original packaging will be credited. We reserve the right to charge for shortages and

damaged goods in full.

Variation of Terms and Conditions of Sale
These terms and conditions can only be varied, altered or changed in writing by a Director of the Company. No employee of the Company has the authority to vary, add or amend any of the above terms and conditions.
